Nuffield Health is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (ODP) to join the operating theatres team for elective surgery and day case work. The role focuses on perioperative care within a multidisciplinary team, managing a varied caseload across general, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, ENT and plastics.

You will supervise and develop junior colleagues, use modern theatre equipment, and pursue Surgical First Assist training; registration with NMC or HCPC and post-registration scrub experience are

• Registration with the governing body (NMC or HCPC) is required.
• Post-registration scrub experience in theatre environments is required.

This permanent Theatre Practitioner (ODP) post sits in the operating theatres of Nuffield Health's hospital, which focuses on elective surgery and day case work. The work centres on perioperative care within a multidisciplinary team, covering a varied caseload while supervising and developing junior colleagues. The surgical mix spans general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, ENT and plastics, with Surgical First Assist training available. Applicants need registration with NMC or HCPC and post-registration scrub experience.
