Job summary

Nuffield Health Oxford is seeking a scrub practitioner to join its theatre team. The role is permanent and full-time, welcoming RGNs and HCPC-registered ODPs who will work with anaesthetists and surgeons to prepare and monitor patients across a varied caseload.

You'll supervise junior staff, deliver evidence-based patient care, and benefit from the site's wellness and professional development opportunities. Registration with NMC or HCPC is required.

Qualifications

• NMC registration (RGN) or HCPC registration (ODP) required.
• Post-registration experience in a surgical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor patients before, during and after surgery with anaesthetists and surgical teams.
• Supervise, support and develop junior staff.
• Deliver clinically effective, evidence-based care and patient experiences.
• Work with ward colleagues to maintain continuity of patient care.
