James Paget University Hospital is seeking a Band 5 Theatre Practitioner to join our perioperative team and help deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across the pathway, including involvement in the introduction of robotic surgery.

The department operates 13 theatres delivering General Surgery, Colorectal, Breast, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics, Trauma, Orthopaedics and Maternity, with satellite anaesthetic services.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (NMC) or Registered Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across the perioperative pathway.
• Work across a range of clinical specialities and develop expertise in at least one area.
• Support the multidisciplinary theatre team in line with service needs and Trust policies.
