Job summary
St John & St Elizabeth Hospital is seeking a Team Leader for Theatre Robotics to lead a skilled perioperative team in a renowned private hospital in London. You will oversee robotic surgery processes, drive clinical and operational excellence, and collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
The role requires RN/ODP with supervisory qualifications, a strong track record in perioperative care, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse or ODP with current practice.
- Demonstrated supervisory/management qualifications.
- Ability to analyse staff and theatre issues and propose solutions.
- Experience in perioperative care across teams.
- Evidence of CPD in management and perioperative topics.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary planned care while managing a team.
- Lead clinical and managerial aspects to maximise theatre utilisation.
- Support specialist role in Robotic Surgery and perioperative care.
- Assist theatre managers to maximise theatre utilisation and patient care.
- Coordinate intra-operative information and ongoing improvement discussions.
