Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience in a perioperative setting.
• Evidence of CPD in management and perioperative subjects.
• Ability to challenge consultants to influence evidence-based practice.
• Experience supervising perioperative teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention while managing a team.
• Ensure the team delivers effective patient care with clinical and managerial leadership, maximizing theatre utilisation.
• Support specialist role in Robotic Surgery and maximise theatre utilisation.
• Assist theatre managers with clinical support and organisation of care provision in operating theatres.
• Coordinate intra-operative information and provide feedback on patient care and improvement opportunities.
• Discuss capabilities and competencies within the team and across perioperative practice.
• Compare perioperative practices against benchmarks and trends.
