Job summary

Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (Bank) to join ourScrub team. This ad-hoc, weekend-inclusive role requires registration with the NMC or HPC and post‑registration experience to deliver high standards of patient care in a busy theatre setting.

You’ll work with a skilled team using advanced equipment, supervising juniors and supporting patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence-based.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HPC).
• Post-registration experience and a passion for high standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with leading clinicians to deliver theatre scrub excellence.
• Manage a varied caseload within theatre services.
• Communicate effectively with the team and patients.
• Utilise state-of-the-art technology and facilities.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our North Staffs Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HPC. You bring a passion for high standards, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You’re a focused, flexible and motivated team worker.
