Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (ODP) to join the operating theatres team for elective surgery and day case work. The role focuses on perioperative care within a multidisciplinary team, managing a varied caseload across general, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, ENT and plastics.

You will supervise and develop junior colleagues, use modern theatre equipment, and pursue Surgical First Assist training; registration with NMC or HCPC and post-registration scrub experience are

Qualifications

• Registration with the governing body (NMC or HCPC) is required.
• Post-registration scrub experience in theatre environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Work across a varied patient caseload.
• Use modern theatre technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior team members.
• Provide clinically effective, evidence-based care and patient experiences.
