Job summary

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust in Warrington is recruiting a Peri-Operative Health Care Support Worker (Band 3) to join the Warrington Hospital Theatre Team. The role supports patient perioperative care within Theatres and the sterile services hub, with training and ongoing e-learning.

The post is full-time (37.5 hours) on a 7-day rota including weekends and bank holidays, with night rotations as required. NHS AfC Band 3 salary is £25,760–£27,476 per year.

Qualifications

• Must have a trust approved Care Certificate.
• Will complete peri-operative competency programme.
• Commitment to online E-learning and in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Support the patient’s perioperative care within Theatres.
• Support the sterile services hub.
• Assist the interprofessional perioperative team.
• Complete theatre documentation (digital and paper).
• Assist with the setup of a Theatre Suite and maintain a clean department.
• Complete E-Learning and regular training.
