East Cheshire NHS Trust in Macclesfield is advertising a Band 5 Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatres team at Macclesfield District General Hospital. This permanent full-time post (37.5 hours per week) includes day shifts, night shifts, on calls and weekends.

You will be a motivated nurse with current NMC registration, have relevant perioperative experience, and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care across the peri-operative journey.

Qualifications

• Evidence of recent acute or relevant clinical experience (including student placements).
• Experience mentoring students or supervising junior staff.
• Experience taking charge or leading a shift.
• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).

Responsabilités

• Maintain high standards of professional conduct and ethics in the department.
• Organise the smooth running of your designated area in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Promote a positive team spirit and maintain high staff morale.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with hospital policies.
