Job summary

Spire St Anthony’s Hospital is seeking a Theatre Manager to lead a busy, multi-speciality theatre department. You will drive clinical excellence, mentor staff and ensure efficient delivery of theatre services across six theatres.

The role requires HCPC or NMC registration, strong orthopaedic experience, and proven leadership in a fast-paced setting. Excellent governance, patient care focus and collaboration with senior leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Evidence of management and leadership in a Senior Theatre role (Lead/Deputy).
• Strong clinical background with orthopaedic experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage performance and develop teams.
• Commitment to governance, risk management and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor theatre staff, ensuring high standards of patient care.
• Provide clinical and managerial leadership across the department.
• Collaborate with theatre co-ordinator and leadership team to achieve KPIs and financial targets.
• Promote continuous improvement and staff development.
