Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (NMC) or ODP with post-registration theatre experience.
• Significant theatre leadership experience in private or public settings.
• Experience managing operations, budgets and workforce planning.
• Governance, patient safety and quality improvement knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership across theatre, recovery and anaesthetic services.
• Drive safe, high-quality patient care and outstanding experience.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee theatre utilisation, productivity and quality metrics.
• Ensure compliance with governance and hospital policies.
• Manage departmental budgets and workforce planning.
• Lead recruitment and staff development within the department.
• Collaborate with Consultants to support service growth.
