Job summary

Spire St Anthony's Hospital is seeking a Theatre Manager to lead a busy surgical theatre team. You will oversee clinical and operational practice, mentoring staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care across multiple theatres.

The role requires strong leadership, orthopaedic experience, and a deep understanding of governance, risk management and service improvement in a private hospital environment.

Qualifications

HCPC or NMC registration without restrictions.
Proven management and leadership experience in a senior theatre role.
Strong clinical background with orthopaedic experience.
Experience in staff performance management, appraisals and team development.
Knowledge of AfPP guidelines and CQC domains and requirements.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assist in delivery of patient care with clinical and managerial leadership across the department.
Act as role model and mentor to clinical staff, promoting good practice and compliance with policies.
Drive Clinical Governance and Risk management within daily practice.
Align theatre KPIs and financial targets with hospital strategy and growth.
