Job summary

Spire St Anthony's Hospital in Sutton is seeking a qualified Perioperative Practitioner with recovery experience to join our private hospital team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role covers recovery and theatre duties across our six operating theatres, in Ortho, Gynae, Cardio-thoracic and other surgical specialties.

You will work within the Scrub/Recovery team in a multidisciplinary environment, providing planned perioperative care and caring for patients throughout their procedures.

Qualifications

• Qualified ODP/Nurse.
• Recovery experience is essential.
• NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your registration.
• Have been employed in a surgical/Theatre setting.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients undergoing procedures
• Providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage
• Assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
• Working across multi-disciplinary teams
• Assessing patient needs, implementing and evaluating their care.
