Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Clinical Theatre Manager – Governance, Risk, Equipment & Education Lead to provide strong clinical and operational leadership across our theatres. You will drive governance, patient safety, staff education and equipment management to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with current registration.
• Significant theatre leadership and management experience.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk management and patient safety.
• Passion for education, quality improvement and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, professional and operational leadership across theatre services to ensure safe, effective and high-quality patient care.
• Lead governance, risk and patient safety programmes, drive audits and service development.
• Oversee staff education, training and competency programmes; manage equipment procurement and maintenance.
• Contribute to incident investigations and embed learning into practice; act as a visible clinical leader within the theatre team.
