Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a Theatre Manager to lead the Theatre, Cath Lab and Endoscopy teams. This senior clinical role requires a nursing or practitioner qualification, with strong leadership, teaching and governance experience to ensure outstanding patient care.

Core hours are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work, and a management on-call rota. Relocation assistance is available and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies this challenging, impactful role.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or practitioner qualification.
• Two years in a senior clinical leadership role.
• Teaching and assessment skills; ILS and management qualification would strengthen your application.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire Theatre, Cath Lab and Endoscopy teams.
• Champion safe, high-quality patient care.
• Build strong relationships with consultants and senior leaders.
• Develop, motivate and support staff to achieve outcomes.
• Manage budgets, business planning and clinical governance.
• Collaborate across departments to improve patient experiences.
