Job summary

The Ambassador Theatre Group is seeking a Customer Experience Supervisor for the Glasgow venues. You will supervise the Customer Experience Team to deliver a seamless Front of House operation across bars, auditorium and merchandise, while driving customer satisfaction and profitability.

You will manage staffing, deliver on KPIs, and ensure safety compliance. A flexible, proactive approach and strong leadership will help you nurture a multi-skilled team across fast-paced performances.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, especially bar work.
• Ability to manage a diverse team with diplomacy.
• Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution.
• Creative problem solving and decision making on the fly.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with multiple tasks.
• Flexible attitude to working hours.
• Strong prioritisation and revenue-focused mindset.
• Interest in theatre and ATG Entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Experience Team to deliver seamless Front of House operations across bar, auditorium and merchandise.
• Contribute to system/process reviews to improve profits and minimise shift lengths.
• Ensure Front of House areas meet health and safety standards and licensing rules.
• Assist with merchandise reconciliation when required.
• Drive customer satisfaction and handle on-night queries and complaints.
• Manage staffing levels, train and develop the team, and be first point of call for incidents.
• Maximise sales and communicate ideas to maximise visitor experience and revenue.
• Supervise shows and performances, assist cellar stock management, and act as first aider.
