Job summary

Derby Theatre Limited is seeking a Front of House host to deliver a warm, welcoming and knowledgeable service from the moment customers arrive at the venue.

You will work across box office, ushering, bar duties and ticket checking, helping audiences find their way around the venue and answering questions. Using the Spektrix system, you will process sales across counter, phone and online channels, while promoting Derby Theatre and its shows.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a busy front-of-house role.
• Ability to work across box office and front-of-house tasks.
• Multichannel sales experience (in person, phone, online).
• Flexible and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide box office sales and enquiries to customers.
• Meet and greet guests, ushering and ticket checking.
• Answer questions, resolve issues and guide visitors around the venue.
• Promote Derby Theatre and its productions to audiences.
