Job summary

Norcot Technologies Limited is hiring for a hands-on electronics test role in our busy product test department. You will test a wide variety of electronic systems and PCBs, maintain test records, and investigate and repair faults to deliver right-first-time results.

Training will be provided to develop specific qualifications and repair skills. The role offers a 4-day working week (Mon-Thu, 7am-5pm), 20 days holiday plus incremental days, a pension scheme, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Hands-on tester with keen eye for detail.
• Experience in electronics or test environment preferred.
• Willing to undergo training and qualifications.

Working in our busy product test department you will be responsible for the test and validation of customer product.

Duties Will Include

• Testing of a wide variety of electronic systems and PCBs.
• Completion and maintenance of associated test records.
• Investigation of customer returns and generation of repair reports
• Interpretation of test results and investigation and repair of defective product.
• General maintenance duties relating to equipment and the test environment.

This role would suit a "hands-on" person who is keen to develop their skills in the area of electronic product test.

You should have a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for delivering 'right first time' results against challenging delivery timescales. Good general computer skills are essential.

Ideally the successful candidate would have previous experience in electronics or a test environment. Full training will be provided along with the opportunity to obtain relevant qualifications through either internal or external courses.

Salary circa £30,000

This position offers 20 days holiday plus an extra day for each complete years service to a maximum of 24 days plus paid bank holidays, 5% employer and 4% employee pension scheme, free parking.

4 Day Working Week - Mon - Thurs 7am to 5pm.
