Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Christchurch is seeking a Test Technician to design and oversee test programs for new and existing products, using internal and external facilities to verify compliance with specifications and schedules.

You will investigate returns and production failures, record findings in systems, handle customer inquiries by email, phone, and Teams, and support the rework schedule while maintaining health and safety practices.

We are looking for a Test Technician to join our Christchurch team!

In this role, you will be responsible for creation and oversight of test programs for new and existing products, utilizing internal and external test facilities, to verify and validate that products meet technical requirements, strictly following the test schedules and procedures.

Your Challenge:
  • Investigate and test product. These will be customer returns and production failures.
  • Follow defined specifications and operating procedures demonstrating strong attention to detail.
  • Record status and findings within relevant systems.
  • Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone or teams.
  • Proactively support the department manager to achieve the rework schedule.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
Your Expertise:
  • Demonstratable previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferably with electromechanical products.
