Job summary

Edwards Vacuum in Clevedon is seeking Test Engineers to support testing, validation and fault-finding of advanced vacuum systems and equipment. You will carry out functional and performance testing, diagnose faults, analyse test data and ensure products meet required quality and performance standards before customer delivery.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and production teams, you will support new product introduction, continuous improvement and maintain high reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering test, manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience with fault finding and problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to analyse technical information and test results.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience testing mechanical, electrical or vacuum systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of pressure or leak testing or vacuum technology would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Job description

Pay: £23.89- £47.32 per hour

Transport: Own transport required
Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, accrued pro rata

About the Role

Pertemps are currently recruiting Test Engineers on behalf of Edwards Vacuum, based in Clevedon.
This role will support the testing, validation and fault-finding of advanced vacuum systems and associated equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out functional and performance testing, diagnosing faults, analysing test data and ensuring products meet the required quality and performance standards prior to customer delivery.
Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and production teams, you will play a key role in supporting new product introduction, continuous improvement activities and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
