Job summary

BMR Solutions in Clevedon is seeking an experienced Test Engineer (Electromechanical) for a long-term contract on site. You will perform electrical and mechanical testing on sub-assemblies and final builds, carry out PAT testing, and diagnose faults on complex systems.

The role offers multiple shift options with overtime and a supportive engineering environment within a high-technology manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electromechanical testing.
• Experience working on live test rigs is essential.
• Hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Background in manufacturing, production or engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical testing of sub-assemblies and final builds.
• PAT testing of components.
• Leak and decay testing on gas, fuel and liquid systems.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding using schematics and drawings.
• Diagnosis to component level and support of rework.
• Final testing, calibration and sign-off prior to dispatch.

Salary & Shifts (PAYE)

Early Shift:

£21.98 – £25.01 per hour

Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:15

Friday 06:00 – 11:30

Late Shift:

£23.89 – £25.17 per hour

Monday to Wednesday 14:30 – 00:30

Thursday 14:30 – 00:00

No Fridays

Additional Options:

Fixed early, late or day shifts available

Overtime:

• 1.75x weekday overtime
• 2.0x weekend overtime
