Job summary

BAE Systems in Rochester is seeking a Test Systems Team Leader to drive the design and development of test solutions for displays, controls and mission computers. The role combines technical leadership with program management to deliver complex test equipment on time.

You will manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, coordinate real-time system testing, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to capture requirements and implement recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Extensive knowledge of the engineering lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing stakeholders and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Track and report project costs and schedules using Jira and Confluence.
• Coordinate integration, analysis and testing of real-time systems across electronic, mechanical, optical and software disciplines.
• Identify and resolve issues across product lifecycles with engineers and team leads.
• Provide realistic program status updates and recovery plans as needed.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure proper requirements capture and maintenance.
• Coach, mentor and nurture team members.
