Job summary

Speedy in Whitehaven is seeking a Test and Run Technician to join the depot team. The role focuses on basic electrical and functionality testing, plus servicing and cleaning returned hire products to ensure they are safe and presentation-ready for the next customer.

It’s a hands-on role offering training and development through Speedy’s in-house courses, with hybrid/flexible work options and opportunities to progress within the group.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v).
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical and functionality testing and service/clean products returned from hire.
• Ensure items are safe and presentable for the next customer.
• Assist in general depot duties to support throughput and quality.
• Participate in in-house training and development opportunities.
