Job summary

Speedy in Whitehaven is hiring a Test and Run Technician to perform basic electrical and functionality testing, service and clean returned hire equipment so it is safe and presentable for the next customer.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00 (42 hours per week) with in-house training and progression opportunities; you will join a supportive team in a busy depot and contribute to a reliable service.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24V) required.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience in hire industry or engineering is desirable.
• Ability to support ESG Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical and functionality testing.
• Service and clean returned hire equipment to be safe and presentable.
• Assist in ensuring equipment is ready for the next customer.
