Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Whitehaven is seeking a Test and Run Technician to join our busy depot team. The role performs basic electrical and functionality testing, and services and cleans products returned from hire to ensure they are safe and ready for the next customer.

You'll need basic 12/24v electrical skills, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to use tools effectively. Strong verbal and written communication is essential, and previous hire industry or engineering experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v).
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Previous experience in hire industry or other engineering field desirable.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical and functionality testing.
• Service and clean products returned from hire to ensure safety and presentability.
• Support the depot team and contribute to efficient operations.
