Job summary

Speedy Hire is seeking a Test and Run Technician to join our UK depot team. You will perform basic electrical tests and functionality checks on equipment returned from hire, ensuring items are serviced, cleaned and safe for the next customer.

The role offers opportunities for on-the-job training and career progression within a leading hire provider. Expect a Monday to Friday schedule, 42 hours per week, and a competitive pro rata salary of £29,572 per annum.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v).
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in the hire industry or engineering is desirable.
• Ability to support ESG initiatives within the business.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical and functionality testing on returned hire products.
• Service and clean items to ensure safety and presentation for next customer.
• Assist with upkeep of depot and support team as required.
