Test Role - System Run Through

Ardent Management Limited is seeking a capable and organised administrator to join the team in Warrington, Cheshire. This role keeps day-to-day operations running smoothly and supports colleagues so the organisation can deliver reliable, professional services.

Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to provide effective administrative and secretarial support across the organisation: managing incoming communications, coordinating schedules and documents, and maintaining accurate records to help teams operate efficiently.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage general reception and incoming communications, including phone calls and email triage.
  • Coordinate diaries and meeting logistics, preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes.
  • Prepare, format and distribute documents and correspondence to required standards.
  • Maintain and update filing systems, databases and records with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support ad hoc office administration tasks, including ordering supplies and liaising with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve administrative processes and ensure consistent service delivery.
Essential skills and experience
  • Proven administrative or secretarial experience, typically gained in an office or professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including producing well-presented documents.
  • Good IT skills, including confident use of email, calendar systems and common office software (word processing, spreadsheets).
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to record-keeping and data entry.
  • Ability to work professionally as part of a small team and to use initiative when required.
Desirable skills and experience
  • Experience of minute-taking and meeting administration.
  • Familiarity with document management systems or CRM tools used in administrative roles.
  • Previous experience in the admin, secretarial or PA sector.
Qualifications
  • A level of education or vocational qualification consistent with administrative roles (for example GCSEs or equivalent); specific qualifications are helpful but practical experience will be highly valued.
What the organisation offers

Working pattern: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.
