Job summary

Together is recruiting an experienced Test Manager to lead quality assurance across Agile teams in a busy technology environment. You will define and execute test strategy, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and drive quality standards across multiple squads.

You will oversee planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities, manage incidents, and mentor testers to enhance automation adoption and delivery quality. Based at our Cheshire site with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Experience leading test strategy and governance in Agile environments.
ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualification desirable.
Experience with enterprise-scale test automation.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the test strategy and quality governance across the team.
Act as the primary contact for test assurance within the release train.
Coordinate with feature teams (including third-party testers) on test planning, execution, and defect management.
Ensure test approaches are risk-based, standards-aligned, and appropriate for the delivery context.
Monitor test progress, triage defects, and elevate risk and blockers as needed.
Track and report on key quality metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect leakage, automation adoption).
Define and maintain a test coverage model for the team, ensuring traceability to requirements.
Take ownership of incidents related to testing and perform root cause analysis.
Identify and implement improvements to testing processes and practices.
