Job summary

Copello is seeking a Test Equipment Design Engineer to design, develop and support production test systems for defence technology products. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable testing across the manufacturing lifecycle, from development through to manufacture.

The role involves applying electronics expertise, debugging techniques and documentation skills to improve test effectiveness and production efficiency. A background in regulated industries is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in test equipment design or electronics engineering.
• Ability to develop hardware, software and automated test solutions.
• Experience creating technical documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain test equipment for production environments.
• Support manufacturing teams with fault diagnosis and investigations.
• Develop hardware, software and automated test solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and test procedures.
• Investigate test failures and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across production and engineering.
