Job summary

MBDA UK in Bolton is seeking an experienced Test Equipment Design Engineer to join the Production Design Support team. You will act as a focal project lead between design and manufacturing, delivering robust test equipment concepts and solutions in electronics.

The role offers hybrid working (4–5 days on-site) and the chance to develop within an international defence environment. Security clearance and BPSS checks apply; salary up to £49,000 depending on experience, with a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent with design experience through manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proven on-time delivery in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in Digital & Analogue Electronics, Power Electronics, RF/Antennas and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Act as Focal Project Lead between design and manufacturing teams.
• Provide knowledge and support to Production Design.
• Contribute to shaping product and test equipment designs.
• Deliver engineering solutions in electronics domains.
