Job summary

Solirius Reply, part of the Reply Group, is hiring a Test Engineer to join the engineering team. You will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software products, working with developers, product owners, and other engineers across the SDLC.

You will define test strategies, identify defects, and continuously improve testing practices, with hands‑on automation and strong C#/.NET or Java skills.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation.
• Programming experience in C#/.NET or Java.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases across web, API, and backend applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and regression test suites.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive and regression testing activities.
• Create robust, maintainable, and reusable automated tests using C#/.NET or Java.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Test REST APIs and integrations between applications and services.
• Analyse requirements and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios, risks, and potential defects.
• Work closely with developers to investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, test evidence, and defect reports.
• Contribute to the improvement of test processes, frameworks, tools, and overall quality practices.
• Support non‑functional testing activities, including performance and reliability testing where required.
• Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, defects, and overall quality.
