The Test Development Engineer role in Newcastle upon Tyne is based on site and combines electronics, software and hands-on engineering in a stable manufacturing environment. You will design, develop and maintain automated test systems for PCB assemblies and contribute to fixture development.
You will translate specifications into test-system designs, select hardware, and develop software using LabVIEW, C#, C++, Python or similar languages.

The Test Development Engineer will design, develop, maintain and improve automated test systems, production-test processes and fixtures for PCB assemblies.
Direct LabVIEW, National Instruments, in-circuit testing or bed-of-nails fixture experience would be advantageous but is not essential where strong transferable electronics and programming skills can be demonstrated.
Monday to Friday, working on site in Newcastle upon Tyne.
