Job summary

MBDA UK invites applications for Test, Calibration & Maintenance Engineer - Undergraduate Placement 2027. A varied year-long placement spanning Manufacturing, from circuit cards to missiles, with hands-on project work on the shop floor and in the lab.

The role is on-site in Bolton and paid £24,460 per year. You will join a team delivering manufacturing test and calibration services, undergo BPSS checks, and work toward a September 2027 start, with security and visa requirements as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate studying for a degree in the listed disciplines with at least a 2.2.
• Interest in manufacturing test, calibration and maintenance activities.
• Willingness to work on-site and participate in BPSS checks.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing test activities and calibration of equipment.
• Assist with maintenance and metrology services across test areas.
• Contribute to documentation and engineering drawings as required.
