Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage offers a one-year undergraduate placement for 2027 in Test, Calibration & Maintenance Engineering. You will experience the full lifecycle—from circuit cards to missiles—on an on-site site with a supportive engineering team.

Starting September 2027, the placement provides hands-on exposure to electronics, electrical and mechanical aspects, with potential progression to graduate roles. BPSS clearance is required after offer, and the role is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate studying for a degree in one of the following disciplines, minimum 2.2.

Responsibilities

• Work across different stages of the Manufacturing process within Manufacturing Test and Calibration & Maintenance.
• Gain hands-on exposure to electronics, mechatronics, optics and RF across shop floor, lab and documentation.
• Support project work and learn through varied placements including circuit card assembly, type test equipment calibration and maintenance, and related systems.
