MBDA in Bolton is offering a Test, Calibration & Maintenance Engineering Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship for 2027. The role includes a £23,000 salary plus a £3,000 joining bonus, with a 4.5-year duration and placements across MBDA’s Manufacturing Test and Calibration & Maintenance teams.

You'll study Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Blackpool College, earning a BSc honours degree in Engineering from Lancaster University upon completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English Language, Mathematics and a Science/Technology subject.
• Post-GCSE routes: A Levels (three total, Maths plus Science/Engineering with grade C or above) or BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma with DDM and Distinction in Further Maths or T Level in Engineering with Merit.

Responsibilities

• Rotate around Test and Calibration & Maintenance placements to gain hands-on experience.
• Support the manufacturing, testing and programming of assemblies from circuit cards to missiles.
• Learn and apply electronics, mechatronics, optics and RF skills across multiple projects.

Education
