Job summary

MBDA UK invites applications for a Manufacturing Engineering Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Bolton. You will study for a BEng (Hons) degree in Engineering Manufacturing from Lancaster University while working in MBDA’s Manufacturing Centre of Excellence.

The programme includes rotations across multiple engineering teams and placements at MBDA sites. You will attend college 1 day a week and MBDA supports you with travel, exam periods, and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: minimum 5 including English and Maths plus science/tech subject.
• Post-GCSE options: A Levels, BTEC, or T Level with required grades/points.

Responsibilities

• You'll rotate around MBDA manufacturing engineering teams.
• Placements at MBDA sites; learn how we build products and assemble systems.
• Develop understanding of manufacturing processes and cost of manufacture.

Education

GCSEs requirement: 5 GCSEs including English Language, Mathematics and a Science/Technology subject

A Levels: 3 x A levels including Maths and Engineering/Technology/Science

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Science or Technology with DDM

T Levels: Engineering subject merit
