Job summary

MBDA UK Limited is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Degree Apprenticeship at Bolton with a 4.5-year duration. You will study for a BEng (Hons) degree in Engineering Manufacturing from Lancaster University, while gaining on-site experience at MBDA and placements across multiple teams.

The programme starts September 2027 with fully funded qualification, travel support, and regular pay reviews. A 23,000 salary plus a 3,000 joining bonus is provided, and security checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language, Mathematics and a Science or Technology subject.
• After GCSEs you must have completed one of: 3 A Levels including Maths and a Technology/Engineering/Science subject (A*–C). Or a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in a Science/Technology subject with required grades. Or a T Level in Engineering with merit.

Responsibilities

• Rotations across different manufacturing engineering teams.
• Work on areas such as Circuit Card Assembly, Seekers and Datalinks, Inert Missile, Actuators and Control Equipment, Platform Equipment and Cables.
• Combine shop-floor and office work to understand how MBDA builds products and supports customers.

A Levels / BTEC / T Levels entry criteria with 120 UCAS Tariff points
