Job description

Join Barclays as a Test Automation Lead, where you'll be part of the Wholesale Lending team responsible for establishing best practice standards around test automation. This includes input into designing testable solutions and creating testing scenarios.

To be successful as a Test Automation Lead, you should have experience with:

• Setting up automated testing solutions, establishing best practices, and coaching testers.
• Programming in Core Java, Collections, OOPS concepts, Exception Handling, SQL, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, Git.
• Working in Agile teams to define and implement suitable automated testing solutions based on user stories and stakeholder input.

Additional valued skills may include:

• Understanding of lending products, especially how they are priced.
• Structured problem-solving approaches and managing parallel streams of work.
• Knowledge of Performance Testing and Security Testing.

This role will be based in our Knutsford office.

To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes to ensure software quality and reliability.
