Join Barclays as a Test Automation Lead, where you'll be part of the Wholesale Lending team. You will be responsible for establishing best practice standards around test automation, including designing testable solutions and creating testing scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up automated testing solutions, establish best practices, and coach testers.
- Program in Core Java, Collections, OOPS concepts, Exception Handling, SQL, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, Git.
- Work in agile teams to define and implement suitable automated testing solutions based on user stories and stakeholder input.
- Design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Create and run automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and design discussions.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and work with developers for resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry trends and contribute to technological excellence.
