Job summary

Speedy Group in Poole is seeking a Test and Run Technician to perform basic electrical and functionality testing, plus servicing and cleaning products returned from hire to ensure safety and presentation for the next customer.

The role develops hands-on engineering skills within a supportive team, with access to in-house training and clear progression routes. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00, 42 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £29,572 per annum.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v).
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience in hire industry or other engineering field desirable.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable
