Job summary

Tesco Retail in Ipswich is seeking a Night Shift Lead to manage store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and coach team members across all areas. You will be the go-to person for daily queries and help maintain a smooth night run.

Experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment is essential. You will support the manager, make balanced decisions, and promote inclusive teamwork during night shifts.

Tesco Shift Lead Night pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
