Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Shift Lead to guide store teams and deliver exceptional customer service. You will lead daily operations, supervise colleagues across departments, and ensure smooth execution of tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll be a visible leader, coaching teammates, communicating clearly, and supporting a culture of inclusion while adapting to changing store needs and priorities. Shift patterns listed include evenings and weekends to cover busy periods.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
