Job summary

Tesco Birmingham is seeking a Store Shift Lead to oversee daily store operations and lead colleagues across departments in a fast-paced retail environment. You will ensure a welcoming shopping experience, handle day-to-day queries, and support the team in meeting store targets.

As a confident, proactive leader, you will coach colleagues, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing store needs while upholding Tesco standards and policies.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
