Job summary

Tesco’s Shift Lead role in-store focuses on leading teams to deliver excellent customer service and smooth daily operations. You’ll coach colleagues, handle day-to-day queries, and help create an inclusive, high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities include guiding the store in the Manager’s absence, staying adaptable to changes, and driving a great customer experience while supporting store goals and company values.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
