Tesco PLC is seeking a Shift Leader (Days) for Handforth Express to lead a store team and ensure excellent customer service across departments. The role involves managing daily operations, supporting colleagues, and stepping in during the Manager’s absence.

You will drive great service, coach staff, and adapt to changing store needs while upholding Tesco standards and values in a busy retail environment.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.
Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will need

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.

• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
