Job summary

Elite Talent Hub, on behalf of a well-established timber processing group, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover South East England. This field-based role reports to the Head of Group Sales and focuses on growing an established customer base.

You will build strong relationships, manage territory with planning and account management, hit annual targets, and ensure excellent service. A full, clean driving licence is required; salary up to £65,000 DOE plus company car and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in field or customer-facing sales roles and territory management.
• Experience selling timber/building products; builders' merchant exposure a plus.
• Ability to nurture existing accounts while developing new relationships.
• Experience working with targets, forecasting and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
• Full, clean driving licence.

• Proactively grow an established customer base and develop new opportunities.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
• Manage the sales territory through planning and account management.
• Meet and exceed annual sales targets and milestones.
