Job summary

Forkway, part of Briggs Equipment, is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Maidenhead to drive equipment sales and grow market share across a defined postcode region. You will manage renewals, build a robust pipeline, and provide tailored materials handling solutions to customers and prospects.

You will develop territory plans, maintain CRM data integrity, and work with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or qualified through equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build credibility with customers at all levels.
• Experience of developing and implementing effective account plans to drive customer growth and retention.
• Experience selling equipment, service agreements and long-term commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Drive equipment sales across a designated territory and deliver against revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of customers and prospects.
• Manage contract renewals and provide tailored materials handling solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and utilise CRM for pipeline visibility.
• Prepare quotations and equipment orders accurately and efficiently.
• Develop and implement a territory sales and marketing plan.
• Build long-term customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to meet objectives.
• Conduct structured customer visits and identify new opportunities.
• Support business growth through proactive development strategies.
