Job summary

Bennie Equipment seeks a field-based sales professional to drive growth in the southeast region, reporting to the National Hire & Sales Manager. You will grow new business and manage an existing client portfolio across the UK.

The role requires 5+ years of materials handling sales experience in the forklift sector, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to work to targets. Travel and cross-level customer engagement are key.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of materials handling sales experience within the forklift industry.
• Strong new business development skills and hunter mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage a defined territory and plan effectively to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Visit prospects for new business.
• Visit existing customers to upsell and develop the relationship.
• Provide customers with quotations.
• Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
• Gather market and customer information.
• Identify new markets and business opportunities.
• Record sales and activity on a CRM.
• Analyze CRM data for sales opportunities.
• Territory planning and time management to meet deadlines.
