Job summary

Hoot Recruit is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the South Central territory. The role is field-based, full-time, and permanent, with a base salary of £40,000–£41,000 plus excellent commission and an OTE around £53,200.

The position includes a company vehicle and expensed fuel card, with some overnight stays. You will identify opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and develop relationships with key accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a field business development/area sales manager role.
• Proven track record in B2B sales.
• Cold calling, prospecting and business development experience.
• High levels of customer service.
• Ability to organise own time effectively.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
• Confident communication skills.
• Ability to establish and nurture client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across a territory through research, data and networking.
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of market requirements.
• Promote products to key accounts and end users.
• Manage revenue of your territory and develop prospects.
• Achieve territory sales via cold calling, appointments, surveys and demos.
• Progress calls to target groups monthly and follow up leads.
• Grow pipeline and meet KPIs.
• Build key client relationships and internal collaboration.
