Job summary

Zing Careers is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth in Sheffield and surrounding areas. You will be field-based, create new opportunities, build a qualified pipeline, win target outlets and collaborate with our client to retain customers.

Key duties include managing your territory, arranging meetings with decision makers in hospitality and foodservice, converting prospects to customers and sharing local market insights to support regional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, foodservice, wholesale or FMCG.
• Strong communications skills.
• Excellent time management and territory planning.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Manage your own territory with Regional Manager and field team.
• Build and manage a strong territory pipeline and identify opportunities.
• Secure meetings with decision makers across hospitality and foodservice outlets.
• Convert prospects into active customers and ensure smooth handover.
• Prioritise outlet clusters with insights, plan visits and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with branch teams to build referrals and support growth.
• Understand challenges faced by hospitality and catering operators.
